You might be coping on the outside while feeling fragile, anxious or low inside.

You might look like you’re coping, while inside you feel anxious, low, or on edge.

You might replay your birth, struggle with intrusive thoughts, or feel disconnected from the version of motherhood you expected.

If this is you, you are not failing — and you are not alone.

I offer specialist postnatal therapy for mums affected by birth trauma, postnatal depression, and postnatal anxiety. We work gently, at your pace, to help you feel steadier, safer, and more like yourself again.

Therapy with me doesn’t require reliving everything or finding the “right words”. We focus on what feels manageable — helping you make sense of your experience and supporting you in everyday life with your baby and family.

How therapy works

Starting therapy can feel daunting — especially when you’re already exhausted or overwhelmed. My aim is to make the process feel as safe, gentle, and straightforward as possible.

1. A free initial call

We begin with a short, no-pressure call. You can share as much or as little as you want — it’s simply a chance to see if we’re a good fit and to ask questions.

2. Going at your pace

In sessions, we focus on what feels most pressing for you. That might be intrusive thoughts, anxiety, emotional numbness, or making sense of a difficult birth experience. We move slowly and carefully — you won’t be pushed to relive events or talk about anything you’re not ready for

3. Gentle, practical support

Therapy isn’t just about talking. We work together to help you feel more grounded, reduce overwhelm, and find ways to cope when things feel too much. The goal is for therapy to support you not just in sessions, but in everyday life with your baby and family.

4. A space that meets you where you are

Some weeks you might want to talk. Other weeks you might need help calming your nervous system or making sense of confusing emotions. There’s no “right” way to do therapy here — we adapt to what you need
